Sambucus nigra f. porphyrophylla Guincho Purple

This strong growing deciduous shrub has rich purple foliage which turns red in the autumn. In summer it bears flat heads of deep pink & white flowers. These develop into black fruit in autumn. These can be picked when ripe & made into wine or jams. Happy in most soils & positions, avoid dense shade.
