An easy-to-grow agave that does well in light shade and well-drained soil. It grows to 25cm in diameter with 16 - 18cm long dark green leaves margined yellow with a pale green midstripe. The edge has dark reddish teeth that turns to a darker red when in bright sun light, giving the "quad" colour in the leaf. Hardy to -12c if kept dry. 13cm pot.
